The documentary film-dialogue reproduces the thoughts and views of the rebel of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) and Polish partisan of the Home Army (AK). These battle-hardened warriors have a fierce dispute about the history of their peoples in the twentieth century and, in particular, from 1939 to 1946, when they fought bravely against the occupants and when they were tortured by the Soviet NKVD and the German SS. In the terrible whirlpool of endless battles on all fronts of the UPA and AK, eventually faced each other. And after years of mutual anger Ukrainians and Poles finally realized the terrible external imperialistic threat, found mutual understanding, and together began to fight the invaders. On the night of May 28, 1946, an attack was carried out on the town of Hrubieszów, controlled by NKVD - one of the largest military operations carried out by UPA together with the AK successors, Polish rebels from WiN (Freedom and Independence).
