A wedding was life’s culmination in a traditional society. So the wedding clothing was the richest, the most expensive, the very best.
The bride had plenty of jewelry. She wore several traditional necklaces: herdan, sylianka, and paciorky.
The groom had a silk scarf on his neck, with its ends passed through a finger ring. He also wore a lot of metal jewelry: zgarda necklace, as well as coins and crosses on his clothes.
An interesting detail of the wedding image is a round-shaped cheese pastry, decorated with small beads, tied to the hands of the groom and bride. It was necessary to put it in one another's hands on the wedding day and keep it after for their entire life.
