A bride's dress from this region differed from others, having two Krolevets rushnyks (towels from Krolevets). In other regions, there was only one embroidered towel. A bride used one Krolevets rushnyk as a belt, while another was tied to her arm. The main bride’s attribute, however, was a wreath.
In the Cherkasy region, a wreath has an amazingly complicated construction: there are layers of paper flowers, braids, and periwinkle flowers.
