Hello friends.
In this video, I’m sharing something very personal — the process of building a cabinet with doors inspired by the look of metal grates, but crafted entirely from wood.
I’ve dreamed for a long time about creating something like this.
For the frame, I used red oak, stained with dark oak oil to bring out a deep, rich tone. The grates — carefully shaped by hand — are made of walnut, finished with clear oil to highlight the beauty of the wood.
The shelves are made from 10 mm tempered glass — strong and elegant.
I had more ideas I wanted to bring into this project... but to be honest, just completing it feels like a victory.
The daily terror attacks from Russia — the so-called “state” that has brought so much death and destruction — make it harder and harder to focus on anything creative. Yet here we are.

This is year four of Ukraine’s brave resistance against Russian aggression.
Thank you for watching.
Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine and supports our fight — not just for land, but for life, for truth, for freedom.

Russian terror will be defeated.
Stay strong. Take care of yourselves.
Glory to Ukraine!
